Week #8 Make Up Week

Hello Everyone!

This week has been designated for students to make up assignments that they have missed during fourth quarter. To determine which assignments are missing please log in to the parent/student portal. Assignments that have an "M" are missing and can be made up for credit. If you need help determining what the assignment is go to the correct school closure week on my website/blog and there will be a link or description of the assignment. If this does not help please send me a message through Remind or an email.

EXTRA CREDIT cannot be completed at this time - only regular assignments. The extra credit that was provided each week during the school closure expired at the end of the corresponding week.

PLEASE check the GRADEBOOK on the portal. If you have any questions please contact me through Remind or email.

The last day that I will accept make up work is WEDNESDAY MAY 13th at midnight. 

There are no additional assignments for any courses - make up work only this week. If you need help with assignments - just let me know and we can meet for a Zoom. I will be doing final grades for courses on Thursday and Friday. I will send out a Remind message when your grades are finished so that you can check them out.

School Closure Week #7 (May 4^th – May 8^th)

Hello Parents & Students!

Week #7 has been designated at “Wrap Up Week.” This will be the final week of assignments or extra credit. See below for details for your course.

Week #8 (May 11^th – May 15^th) is our “Make-Up Week.” Students may makeup work from the closure weeks – except for extra credit which cannot be made up. Go to the portal on Monday May 11^th to see if you are missing anything – if you are please make up the assignment(s) and send them to me through the Remind App. If there is something that I need to open for you (like ALEKS) please make up everything else first. The last day that I will accept any work from students is Wednesday, May 13^th at midnight.

Week #9 is set aside for students to turn in their books, equipment, etc.

If you have any questions on the next few weeks – please ask sooner rather than later.

Hello Students & Parents,

I hope that you are well. We are halfway through the quarter this week!

Below are the Week#5 assignments for each class. Remember to submit your assignments through the REMIND APP. When submitting an assignment(s) you must “Send” each photo (one at a time) or I will only get the first one.

I will be putting Week #4 grades into the portal today. It is very important that you check the portal and make sure that I have your assignments entered. If you find that I do not have something – just message me through the REMIND APP. The nice thing about the REMIND APP is that I have pictures of all the assignments that you have sent me in one place in one long message. I receive about 500-700 notifications on Remind each week – therefore it is likely that I will miss something here and there. If you send me an assignment and I do not respond – I may have missed it. Just message me about it through Remind. If you send me an assignment and I do not send you the key for that assignment – I may have missed it. Again, just message me about it through Remind. If you look at the portal and a grade is missing – I may have missed it. Again, message me about it through Remind.

If you are feeling frustrated or confused about anything pertaining to our class, then PLEASE let me know. If you don’t tell me, then I don’t know, and I assume that everything is okay. I want to work with you so that you have a successful quarter!
